A 1950’s Campus Transformed for Miami’s Growing Student Population:

This phased campus replacement project was comprised of eighteen buildings, three of which were new construction and included the school’s administrative offices, gym, and cafeteria. Major renovations included the Media Center, music areas, and existing classrooms in what is referred to as the campus’ central “quadrangle”. The entire site was completely transformed in several phases into an organized campus consistent with the latest programmatic requirements for an educational facility of the highest caliber.

“Both the North Dade Middle Center for Modern Languages and the Miami Central High
School projects presented unique challenges of historically significant campuses and
construction of a fully operational high school while adhering to a tight schedule.
Coastal delivered these complicated projects and they are both once again a source of
great community pride.”
