From Dreams to Reality – The Ever-Fascinating Faena District:

Situated adjacent to Faena House (also built by Coastal), Faena Hotel is the result of renovations and an addition to the historic Saxony Hotel, located at Collins Avenue and 32nd Street – the conception of Alan Faena / Faena Group of Buenos Aires, Argentina. A visual feast, guests are greeted by a ten-foot tall, 24-karat wooly mammoth skeleton sculpture and a golden unicorn sculpture, both by Damien Hurst. Faena Hotel is comprised of 169 guest rooms, of which 111 are suites with dedicated butler service as well as 13 residential units. Amenities include a screening room, the 150-seat Saxony Theater for live performances, Tierra Santa Healing Spa, two restaurants, pool and direct access to Faena Playa, a 100,000 square foot beach playground. The interiors were designed by Bazmark Interiors of Kings Cross, Australia.
