World’s First Bentley Motors-branded Residences Break Ground on Miami’s Sunny Isles Beach

Dezer Development in collaboration with Bentley Motors announced the official groundbreaking of Bentley Residences Miami, the world’s first and only Bentley-branded residential tower, situated on an exclusive stretch of oceanfront at 18401 Collins Avenue in Sunny Isles Beach. Featuring four innovative car lifts and glass-ensconced sky garages that exhibit cars like art in each of the 216 private residences, the 62-story luxury condominium has experienced incredible sales velocity ahead of the start of construction having reached just over 40% sold. Harnessing the prestige of the highly acclaimed luxury automobile brand, Bentley Residences will emulate a sense of class, elegance, and sophistication and set precedent for resort-style luxury living on the beach with five-star hospitality and service and an unrivaled food and beverage program by Chef Todd English. Coastal Construction is leading construction, and completion is expected at the end of 2027.

“Breaking ground on Bentley Residences is a huge milestone for the project and another step closer to bringing our vision to life,” said Gil Dezer, President of Dezer Development. “We are excited to introduce a completely new elevated residential experience to Sunny Isles Beach and look forward to continuing the relationship with Bentley Motors to deliver a one-of-a-kind project.”

Designed by Sieger Suarez Architects in partnership with Bentley Motors, Bentley Residences will carefully integrate Bentley’s most distinctive design cues into its architecture and interiors. The iconic diamond-quilted pattern adorning Bentley door panels, for example, will be recreated on the tower’s façade through diamond-shaped glass panels angled meticulously to refract natural light. As a result, the exterior will glimmer in the sunlight. These same patterns and silhouettes are echoed throughout the building, including the diamond-embossed stone in the primary bathrooms and the diamond-shaped floor tiles spanning the lobby.

Christophe Georges, President and CEO of Bentley Motors, Inc. says, “We are very pleased to celebrate this key milestone in the development of Bentley Residences Miami. A demonstration of our commitment to great design, the development will create a living experience that expresses the very philosophy of the Bentley brand.”

The heart of Bentley Residences is the patented car elevator that transports both car and passengers from the road directly to a resident’s doorstop in one swift move. The Dezervator, named after its founder Gil Dezer, creates an unparalleled lifestyle for buyers centered around exclusivity and privacy. The innovation makes three- and four-car sky garages within each residence possible and offers convenient, secure storage for private car collections. Complete with the option for EV charging amenities, these sky garages also provide additional space for storage and small motorized vehicles such as wave runners and motorcycles.

“We are honored to once again be working with the Dezer family for the fourth time and to lead the construction of Bentley Residences, a project that will undoubtedly redefine the skyline of Sunny Isles. This innovative building stands as a testament to the spirit of Miami, a city known for its boldness and vision for the future,” said Tom C. Murphy, Co-President of Coastal Construction Group. “We are proud to be part of this iconic project, which will leave a lasting impact on the community and beyond.”

The private homes at Bentley Residences are just as unique and thoughtful as the car lift. They embrace the concept of indoor-outdoor living and offer expansive private outdoor spaces with unobstructed views that stretch the shoreline. Every individual balcony will have a private heated swimming pool, summer kitchen and generous living area specially engineered to cut through any gusty winds so that residents can easily light a candle even 30 floors in the air.  This ingenuity is continued inside to the home interiors. State-of-the-art kitchens feature Gaggenau appliances, Italian designed cabinetry and motorized doors that hide the space with the touch of a button, while the primary bathrooms double as home spas with private saunas, behind-mirror TVs and outdoor showers in select residences. As with the façade, the interiors also feature subtle nods to the Bentley brand. The iconic diamond patterning, as well as its chrome finishes and unique textured door handles, knobs and pulls, are incorporated in small but impactful ways that will resonate with Bentley brand enthusiasts.

Spanning 2.4 acres, Bentley Residences is situated along one of Miami’s most picturesque beaches where residents lead year-round resort-inspired lifestyles. The tower represents the exciting future of the site’s former Thunderbird Hotel and will uphold its legacy. The property will feature a lushly landscaped beach club and oceanfront pool deck complete with food and beverage service, cabanas and spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean, as well as a 20,000-square-foot collection of amenities including a whiskey bar, cigar lounge, wellness and revitalization spa, cinema and oceanfront beauty salon. Four-time James Beard award-winning celebrity chef Todd English will curate the menu and dining experience for an exclusive private restaurant, which also offers catering, demonstrations, and food and wine pairings to residents.
