Another big office and residential project is moving forward in downtown Miami.
Last week, an affiliate of developer Related Group filed plans to begin building the 42-story Miami Station tower, city Building Department records show.
The plans were filed March 1. The developers are using private providers for review, which speeds the process but is more expensive.
A demolition permit to clear the site was already approved by the city in February.
According to the construction permit, Miami Station will include:
301 multifamily rental units (levels 23 to 40)
247,322 square feet of office (levels 11 to 21)
6 floors of parking
5,951 square feet of ground floor retail
A tower height of 523 feet is listed under the multi-family estimates.
Total hard construction cost is estimated at $127,352,051.
Coastal Construction is listed as the contractor.
PRH Miami Central, LLC is listed as the developer.
